The CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai was established in the year 1948 with headquarters at Chennai. It has Regional Centres at Ahmedabad, Jalandhar, Kanpur and Kolkata. - Stage 01(Trade Test)-The Candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for a trade test which will be qualifying in nature. Those who qualify in the trade test will be invited for the Stage-II.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper II and Paper III. But Paper II and Paper III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in paper.
