SAINIK SCHOOL AMETHI RECRUITMENT 2025-Sainik School Amethi came into existence on the 15th of July 2020, marking the commencement of its first academic session with the admission of the first batch of 90 cadets. The school got established during the tenure of Lt Col Chandra Prakash as Principal. Presently, Lt Col Geeta Mahadik from Indian Army posted as Principal and Lt Cdr Siddharth Shekhar Nehra from Indian Navy posted as Administrative Officer.
At present, school is functioning the classes up to class X with the total strength of cadets is 422 ( boarder- 413 and 9 dayscholars). The general vision of Sainik Schools Amethi is to prepare young cadets academically, physically, and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other defence academies. our aim is to nurture leadership qualities, discipline, and a strong sense of patriotism among the cadets.
The school is located in a sprawling 50 acres of land, approximately seven kilometres away from the hustle and bustle of Gauriganj town amidst lush green fields. Gauriganj is the Administrative Headquarter of Amethi District. Gauriganj is about 126 kilometres from state capital Lucknow and is accessible by road and rail links. It provides the ideal, natural backdrop for nascent minds and growing children.
